Middlesborough
Today's article is written by Rob Lewis, where we caught up with him with the prospect of an ineresting match in this F A Cup 3rd tie at the Riverside Stadium home to Middlesborough on 7th Jan 2012. The match was played in front of 12,631 fans of which 917 were Shrews fans.

Based on the whole of Towns performance there are so few negative points to be made against the squad or the manager with so many chances created by Matt Richards, Wright, Ainsworth, Morgan the list goes on.
Defence in the last couple of matches has been a concern for me in recent matches, however today has seen Sharps and the back four return to strong and a solid line pulling forward hard and fast to join in the attack. A concerning centre of midfield performance was my only let down with Nicky's Wroe's absence, yet again a "BUT" in the form of Mcalister who watched his attacking determation with a level of defensive effort.
Moving to our front line and the ever willing Morgan who seemed more like a centeral midfielder than a striking goal threat who paired better with Collins.
Now with the F A Cup dream over (one of the best in years we all have to admit) plus our exit from the Carling Cup in style at the Emeriates our soul focus is now on the league capitalising on our great home form, looking to make it even better reading on the heels of Crawley, Sothend, and the rest of the leading pack.
Cheer on the lads
Support the lads
Let's hope for the another solid home game.
